San Diego Road Trip: Mission Beach, Belmont Park, & The Wave House

The last day of our San Diego getaway was quite relaxing! We went to Mission Beach and laid out in the sun all day! We read books, boogie boarded, napped, and had a picnic. It was a lovely day at the beach!

We had lunch at the Wave House.

It’s a super cool outdoor, beachfront restaurant with wave machines. So you can watch people surfing while you eat.

Once we all started getting too much sun, we rinsed off and went shopping in some of the cute tourist stores along the beach, and then walked over to Belmont Park. Colleen and I rode the Roller Coaster and Tilt-A-Whirl…so fun!

We finished the day up with dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery with Jeff and Sheri and baby Ayden.  Another great day in San Diego! We can’t wait to do an assignment there!

It was definitely a long and exhausting drive home. I actually drove because Sky had to work the next day. By the time we got back to our apartment in L.A. we were all ready for a shower and a good nights sleep!

More to come on the last half of the week that my mom was visiting
