Food, Fitness, & Fun in All 50 States

A couple of Sunday’s ago, when our friend Brooke was visiting us in San Diego, we spent the day site seeing. Our first stop of the day was the Wave House in Mission Beach.

The Wave House is a super cool beachfront restaurant. It is outside with sand floors and a couple of wave machines. You can sit and eat your lunch or have a drink while you watch people surf with gorgeous views of the ocean and sand in your toes! How cool is that?! There were several guys surfing that day, but this guy was definitely the best…so much fun to watch!

The food at Wavehouse is okay. Nothing special, but good enough. You don’t really go for the food though…it’s all about the experience and atmosphere!

Before we headed on to our next destination, we all walked down to the beach and put our feet in the frigid Pacific waters! Sooo cold! But you gotta do it if you’re at the beach!
