Fiesta Bowl
On January 2nd we made our day around the Fiesta Bowl! Skyler had been saying ever since we moved to Phoenix that he would love to go to the bowl game but the tickets were way too expensive. Well, he kept an eye on them up to a few days before when we found some at a discount online and snatched ‘em up! He was thrilled and we were all pumped to be able to attend such a cool game.
We met up with one of Ashlee’s friends and had lunch at Shane’s Rib Shack, and then headed to Margaritaville for some pre-game drinks. We all bought shirts to commemorate the day and got all pumped up for the game amongst the massive crowds of people all doing the same!
We made our way to the game pretty early so we could get lots of pictures and take it all in. It was awesome!
We were all four routing for OSU because it is close to home. And then after the two bands performed it confirmed we had made the right decision…Stanford’s performance lacked sportsmanship big time and was annoying. OSU’s performance was much more tasteful and enjoyable!

After the band’s performed, it was time for the National Anthem. It gave us all chills! They opened up a massive flag over the field and released a bald eagle. Incredible!
The game was definitely an exciting one to be at. Not only was it a bowl game but it went into a nail-biting overtime. For sure a fun day!!!
