Food, Fitness, & Fun in All 50 States

So, as I mentioned a few days ago, I am now addicted to the Twilight Saga! Until now, I have not enjoyed reading…especially anything sci-fi related. When everybody else was going ga-ga over this series, I made fun of them. A couple of weeks ago Sky and I decided to watch it on pay-per-view to see what all the hype was, and I was hooked. We rented New Moon the next day, and I searched everywhere to find a theater that was still playing Eclipse, to no avail.

So, I bought Twilight and started reading because everybody kept saying that the books are better than than the movies. To be honest, I didn’t believe it. I am more about the instant gratification that a movie provides. I was WAY wrong though! I breezed through Twilight in 10 days! Pretty impressive for somebody that hasn’t read since college, and hasn’t read for pleasure…EVER!

Now I’m obsessed. Yep! I am a dork and I don’t care. I can’t get enough of it actually. I have already read about 1/4 of  Eclipse. I have even been dreaming about it at night.  I want Edward to kiss me. OK, that’s enough!  

I watched Twilight again last night now that I have finished the book, and it was amazing to see all the differences. I was actually super disappointed because of how quickly the movie progressed compared to the book. I find it quite funny that before I read the book, I loved the movie. But after the book, the movie just seems sub-par.

So there’s my crazy girl rant for the day. I am a nerd and I am not afraid to admit it! Hope everybody is having a great week so far! We have lots of fun activities planned for the rest of my sister and her husbands vacation!
