Food, Fitness, & Fun in All 50 States

We rang the New Year in this year at the Fiesta Bowl Block Party. It’s the first time I’ve ever been to a big New Year’s party and it was awesome! There were like 50,000 people all along Mill Avenue in Tempe. There were three headliners on the main stages: Sawyer Brown, Gin Blossoms, and Gabriel & Dresden. And then there were tons of other local bands, street performers, BMX riders, a dance floor with a DJ, etc. all to entertain. So. Much. Fun!!!!!

We walked around for a while taking it all in and then found a bar and enjoyed the live music with friends.

They counted down to midnight on the big screens and then put on an exciting firework show complete with a confetti drop. It was awesome and was by far my best New Year’s ever! Definitely the perfect way to kick start 2012!
