Food, Fitness, & Fun in All 50 States

Sunday was a very refreshing day with hints of home familiarity. We went to Kairos Church in Santa Monica. It was a very small service that was intimate and the people were extremely welcoming. The coolest part was that I got to see a couple of old friends again. I went to kindergarten and first grade with one girl and played club volleyball with here in high school, and I went to fifth and sixth grade with the other. It is always fun to reconnect with old friends!

After church we did what you are supposed to do after church…we went out to lunch. Mexican food is my FAVORITE and I had been craving it since we moved here, so we tried Earnie’s Taco House in North Hollywood. I read online that their burritos are good so we both got different burritos. It was OK, but we won’t go back. They didn’t even serve queso…which is my favorite part about Mexican restaurants. Yeah…I’m not gonna lie…I’m more of a Tex Mex kinda gal…don’t judge!
