While we lived in San Diego Skyler went to Coronado Island several times to golf at the Coronado Municipal Golf Course. If you show up before 7:00am on Monday through Friday you can golf the back 9 holes for only $16, so he took full advantage! I never went with him, but he tells me it’s a nice course. He thought it was pretty cool that it sits in between Hotel del Coronado and the Navy base. And the views of the bay, the Coronado bridge, and downtown San Diego are pretty nice as well. If you don’t do the ‘show up before 7am’ deal, it can be difficult to get a tee time on short notice. Sky says the course is pretty easy, but a lot of fun.  All-in-all, he was happy to be playing golf for a good price on a good course.
