Jerome
Jerome & The Haunted Hamburger
After we spent about an hour walking through Tuzigoot it was about time for lunch so we made the 5,200 foot trek all the way to the top of Cleopatra Hill to the old ghost town of Jerome, AZ. It is referred to as “America’s Most Vertical City” and the “Largest Ghost Town in America”. Jerome is a super cute, artsy, historical copper mining town. For those of you reading from back home, think Eureka Springs in Arizona…surrounded by the stunning red rock mountains.
After we meandered through the enchanted little town and strolled through a couple of shops, we made our way to The Haunted Hamburger. A ranger at Tuzigoot recommended it and we were not disappointed. We sat out on the patio with incredible views overlooking the mountains and town below.
Sky had the BBQ Burger…
…and I had the Haunted Burger. Both were delicious and both way more than either of us could eat!
Once we were done with lunch we walked around Jerome a little bit longer and then loaded up and headed on to our next adventure for the day…
