San Jose Flea Market

This past Saturday Sky and I were looking for something different and cheap to do. His recruiter had told me about the San Jose Flea Market shortly after we moved to Santa Clara, so we decided to check it out. This place is huge! It spans over more than 120 acres and hosts over 4 million visitors each year. They are celebrating 50 years in business this year.

It only costs $5 to park on the weekends ($2 during the week), and you have access to hundreds of vendors selling everything from furniture to produce to automotive parts to clothes to electronics, etc. To be honest, this kind of shopping isn’t really up mine and Skyler’s alley, but we enjoyed meandering around and checking it all out for the fun of it.

I think that the coolest area was the Farmers Market tent. There were so many different types of produce, nuts, and spices available. I told Sky that I would love to have somebody that actually knows how to cook with all that was there to cook me a meal!

Anyway, it was a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a dreary Saturday. Here are some of the pics…
